Taxpayer Advocate and Chairwoman for the Orange County Board of Supervisors Michelle Steel Endorses Harry Sidhu for Anaheim Mayor

Anaheim, CA – Today, Anaheim business owner and public servant, Harry Sidhu announced Taxpayer Advocate and Orange County Supervisor Michelle Steel’s endorsement of his candidacy to be Anaheim’s next Mayor.
“Harry Sidhu is the one candidate I trust to work for the people of Anaheim,” said Supervisor Steel. “Harry’s expertise as a public servant and a small business owner has given him the tools necessary to enact policies that will encourage steady job growth and provide our law enforcement with the resources they need to combat crime.”
Supervisor Steel currently serves as the Chairwoman for the Orange County Board of Supervisors. Prior to Supervisor Steel’s overwhelming victory to the Board of Supervisors in 2014, she represented over eight million residents in Southern California as a member of California’s Board of Equalization, serving as the Vice-Chair in 2011. As a member of the Board of Equalization, Supervisor Steel distinguished herself as the state’s leading tax fighter, establishing policies that saved California taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars.
“For years Supervisor Steel has fought tirelessly to protect California’s taxpayers from overbearing tax policies that have stifled job growth and driven hardworking California residents out of the state, to have her faith and trust is a great honor,” said Harry. “I look forward to working with Supervisor Steel and all of our local leaders to build a brighter future for all of Anaheim’s residents.”
Harry Sidhu is a longtime small business owner who started his first business in Orange County 30 years ago. He served for eight years as a member of the Anaheim City Council and has been an active leader in the local community for decades.
