“Downtown Anaheim is getting 232 three-story homes and townhomes priced from under $600,000.
TRI Pointe Homes is launching Canvas on a 15-acre site at 916 E. Santa Ana St. — designed in part by William Hezmalhalch Architects, MJS Landscape Architecture and CDC Designs — that’s comprised of three distinct neighborhoods:
Claret: 87 townhomes with modern architecture with 1,378 to 1,841 square feet and up to four bedrooms and four bathrooms.
Violet: 73 townhomes with Spanish-inspired architecture with 1,364 to 2,179 square feet and up to four bedrooms and four bathrooms.
Cerise: 72 single-family detached homes with modern, Spanish or traditional design options with 2,137 to 2,615 square feet and up to four bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The project, with open space featuring murals curated by Jasper Wong, will have 10 model homes opening early next year. Prices are expected to run from the high $500,000s up through the $800,000s.
“Canvas is designed to bring art, color, and imagination into the neighborhood and homes of its residents,” said Brian Ortwein, TRI Pointe’s project manager for Canvas.
TRI Pointe bought the fully entitled Canvas site in July 2018 from Shopoff Realty Investments.
“The revitalization of our downtown is an Anaheim success story that continues to unfold,” Mayor Harry Sidhu said. “And behind that success are all of the people who call the neighborhoods of downtown home. With this project, we will welcome hundreds of new residents to downtown Anaheim to enjoy and support all that our Center City has to offer.”…”
